250 Years of Delivering Stamps

Celebrate a major American postal anniversary with the 250 Years of Delivering Forever@ stamps from the U.S. Postal Service.

The pane of 20 interconnected stamps shows a bird's-eve view of a mail carier's route through a bustling town. Laid out in 4 rowsof 5, the stamps depict the story through the 4 seasons from top-left to bottom-right. The artwork also contains numerous iconsrepresenting the Postal Service.

Chris Ware created the stamp artwork and co-designed the pane with art director Antonio Alcalá.

The 250 Years of Delivering stamps are being issued in panes of 20 Forever@ stamps. These Forever stamps will always be equalin value to the current First-Class Mail® one-ounce rate.
